A NEW PATH forward
MEET Julie!
Julie Foster, founder of A New Path Life & Grief Coaching, holds a Master’s in Education with a focus on Mental Health Counseling from Bridgewater State University and a Bachelor of Arts from Providence College. She is a certified Grief Recovery Specialist, trained by the Grief Recovery Institute, and an ICF Level 2 trained Life Coach. Julie is also certified Grief Educator through the David Kessler training program.
Following the loss of her mother to Glioblastoma in 2018, Julie embarked on a healing journey, discovering evidence-based grief recovery strategies she now teaches to others. With over 10 years of experience as a mental health counselor and more than 22 years of sobriety, Julie is passionate about guiding individuals through transitional periods and helping them achieve emotional well-being. She serves on the Women’s Wellness Committee at The JPH Organization in Marshfield, a nurturing community focused on healing and transformation. She also volunteers at Hope Floats Healing & Wellness Center in Kingston, a bereavement & education center for those who are grieving, dealing with illness or facing other life challenges. There she co-facilitates a parent loss support group.

W H O I S E R V E
I pride myself on providing compassionate support and guidance to individuals and groups navigating life transitions and grief, including the following:
Adolescents - I help teenagers as they grapple with the complex emotions that accompany grief and life changes, supporting their well-being during such a formative period.
Individual Adults - I offer strategies to foster emotional healing and growth in the wake of personal challenges or loss.
Groups of Adults - I facilitate group sessions in a safe space where adults can reap the benefits of shared experiences and collective healing.
Organizations - I work with health and human services organizations that staff direct care roles, to support their employees around compassion fatigue, emotional labor burnout, and exposure to trauma and loss.
