What happens when grief walks into the workplace?

Whether it’s the death of a loved one, a serious illness, divorce, or another major life loss, grief doesn’t stay at the office door.

It can affect an employee’s focus, productivity, relationships, attendance, and overall well-being. I’ve experienced it first hand and want to help workplaces and employees through it!

So, I’m looking forward to cohosting this webinar:

“Navigating Grief at Work: Offering Support and Working Through Loss” with Ashley DiBiase and the Massachusetts Business Network.

We’ll explore practical ways that small business owners, executives, and HR leaders can better understand grief, support employees through loss, and create a workplace culture where people don’t have to choose between being human and being productive.

FREE FRIDAY GRIEF JOURNALING PROMPTS

A gentle invitation to pause, reflect, and make space for your grief.

Beginning Friday, September 4, 2026, you’ll receive one thoughtful grief journaling prompt every Friday morning through the end of the year—completely free.

Grief can be difficult to put into words. Journaling can offer a private space to slow down, notice what you're feeling, remember what matters, and explore the many layers of your grief at your own pace.

Each Friday’s prompt will invite you to reflect on a different aspect of grief, including memories, emotions, relationships, identity, self-care, connection, meaning, and moving forward while carrying your loved one with you.

There’s no right or wrong way to respond. You don't have to be a "good writer," and you don't need to share what you write with anyone. Some weeks you may write a page. Other weeks, you may simply jot down a few words—or decide that you're not ready to write at all.

This is not about doing grief "right." It’s about creating a little space for yourself.

Every Friday morning, you'll receive:

  • ✍️ One meaningful grief journaling prompt

  • 💛 A gentle invitation for reflection

  • 🌿 A little space to connect with yourself and your grief

  • 📩 A prompt delivered right to your inbox

You can journal whenever and wherever feels comfortable—a quiet morning with your coffee, during a lunch break, before bed, or whenever you need a few moments for yourself.

You don't have to move on from your grief. You can learn to make space for it while continuing to move forward.

Join me for Free Friday Grief Journaling Prompts, beginning September 4 and continuing every Friday through December 2026.

Your grief deserves a place to be heard.

Nourishing Yourself Through Grief

How Nutrition Supports Healing of the Body, Mind, and Heart

Sunday, September 20th @The Wellness Collective, Hanover

When we're grieving, even the simplest tasks—like eating, drinking enough water, or preparing a meal—can feel impossible. Yet our bodies need nourishment just as much as our hearts need compassion.

Join myself and Registered Dietitian Royletta Romain, MEd, RD, LDN, CLT, founder of Healing by the Forkful, for a supportive and practical workshop designed specifically for people navigating the early days of grief.

Together we'll explore:

  • Why grief often changes our appetite, energy, and relationship with food

  • Simple, realistic ways to nourish yourself when cooking or eating feels overwhelming

  • The connection between nutrition, the nervous system, and emotional healing

  • Gentle self-care practices that support both body and mind
